At your hotel
You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco a bit earlier than most other tours to avoid the crowds. With a private transport we travel over the mountains to our first stop - the archaeological site of Pisac at the beginning of the Sacred Valley. During the guided tour of the ruins here your guide will introduce you to the history and culture of the Incas while exploring the temples, altars, carvings, tunnels, and more together.
We will wander through the traditional and colorful market of Pisac, and you will have the opportunity to browse or buy beautiful handicrafts, souvenirs, local fruits, vegetables, and other natural products. After about 30 minutes here, we continue our journey through the Sacred Valley and will stop in one of the towns along the Urubamba river for lunch (included).
We will make our way to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo with impressive Inca constructions and perfectly carved terraces in mountain setting where you will learn more about the Incas with your dedicated tour guide.
For our final stop in the Sacred Valley, we visit Chinchero, a beautiful colonial-era village where you will be fully immersed into the Andean community and culture. You’ll learn about Peruvian weaving and textile coloring from local artisans, all still done using traditional Inca techniques - knowledge passed down from generation to generation.
Expected return to Cusco.

Our group just loved the tour of Cusco, Peru and Mike, our Tour Guide. I think Peru will have more tourists after having seen this virtual tour! Thank you!!
The m you very much Lisa
Wow! What an amazing experience! I booked this as an opportunity for our students to "travel" and learn about a place we are unable to visit in person. Michael did an excellent job on this tour. He created a truly unique educational experience for our students and families. I have received many notes of positive feedback stating how much they enjoyed this experience. Michael was communicative through the whole process ensuring that the tour would meet the needs of our group. He was patient as we worked through some technical difficulties on our end. I would 100% recommend this tour. Thank you Michael for bringing the beauty of Peru and Machu Picchu to our homes.
Thank you so much Rachel for your review, I'm really happy to hear everyone enjoyed it. It was an absolute pleasure hosting you and your students virtually at Machu Picchu!
