We made our visit during the Eid holidays and therefore had limited choice of activities that we could do (e.g. museums and restaurants are closed). Despite that, Azizan made the tour very informative. We learned many interesting nuggets of information, and he even managed to procure for us the famous Ambuyat dish. We really enjoyed the tour.
Dear Mr Zulfa, Thank you for your feedback. I'm so glad that you had enjoyed your tour during your visit to Brunei Darussalam. It mean a lot to me and my future.
Erick advised that Azizan would be our Tour Guide 30 minutes before the Tour started. Azizan was a great guide, clearly has a lot of knowledge about Brunei’s history, its people and many other subjects such as the economy, the education system, etc. Having studied in Singapore on a full scholarship and now working at a Think Tank in Brunei, he must be one of the most well educated tour guides I’ve met despite his young age. He suggested tweaking our plans and first took us to the Brunei Energy Hub, which is an impressive exhibition showcasing the country’s energy journey since 1929. We visited the Water village, had tea and coffee at a local home, visited the Kampong Ayer Gallery within the water village. We were lucky to see a few proboscis monkeys during a mangrove river safari and a couple of kingfisher birds. We also did photo stops at the Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque and the Istana. All in all, those 4 hours gave us a wonderful opportunity to get to know a country we had never visited before, and also learn the customs during Ramadan (the period of our visit)
Dear Mr Paola, Thank you for your message and for taking the time to write such valuable feedback. I am so glad you enjoyed your tour with Azizan. I really appreciate your feedback because it will help me to continue providing better service to my clients in future. Kindest Regards Erick Jamat
Had a wonderful day trip visiting the / key mosques, the Islamic Museum Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, took a picture in front of the palace, as well as the mangrove and Kampong Ayer boat tour. Had the opportunity to step inside one of the homes and the light refreshments especially the Pisang Goreng were very nice. I was lucky to spot quite a few proboscis monkeys moving around and also at the mangroves. Happy trip overall which my mum and I enjoyed.
Dear Ms Monica Lim, Thank you very much for such a great review. I am very happy and grateful that you and mum had enjoyed your tour and the local cuisine too. It is a best encouragement for my work. Best wishes, Erick Jamat
Our guide was very friendly and very kind, he liked talking and it was fun listening to his stories. It felt like we were being toured by a family member. ❤️ He even sent us pictures of monkeys even after the tour because we weren’t able to get many shots from our phone! Thank you very much!
Dear Sharmaine, Thank you for your great review. I really appreciate it. I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying your tour. Your feed back will inspire me to do more better service in future.. Thank you so much.
