Depending on the location of your hotel, we go to the first destination either by walking or going by public transportation.
We will start our tour from the charming Latin Quarter. It is known for being the historical student district where several old Universities are located. It is also famous for its many charming cafes and bistros as well as the famous Panthéon, the burial place of the French nobles.
After touring around the Latin Quarter, we will cross the river to Île de la Cité island where the famous Basilica of Notre Dame is located. Unfortunately, we cannot go inside (due to the fire and construction), but we will see Notre Dame from outside.
We will cross the river by walking over the oldest bridge in Paris, Pont Neuf towards the Louvre art museum. In Louvre we will see the most famous art pieces.
After visiting the Louvre we walk across the Tuileries Garden and arrive at the Place de la Concorde square. The square is famous for its history of being the execution place of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.
We walk towards Arc de Triomphe along the famous Champs-Élysées avenue. It is known for its cafés, theatres and luxury shops.
Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous landmarks of Paris. The monument is built to honour those who died in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I lies in the vault under the monument.
From the Arc de Triomphe, we continue our journey to the Eiffel Tower. Here we end our tour by climbing up the tower, where you can see the beautiful scenery of Paris.
The tour ends at the Eiffel Tower, but if needed tour guide can escort you back to your hotel.
