Shinsekai means "New World" in Japanese. This area was developed to have a "National Industrial Exhibition" in 1903. This was one of the most advanced and developed places in West Japan on that time and that's why this area is called "New World". Takashi is amazing. Very thoughtful and easy to get along with. Never felt like you with with a guilde more like a local friend who introduced you to the culture, foods, people and places to visit and be a part of. Went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and make the visit that much more enjoyable. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your comment :) I feel really happy to know that you had a good time in the tours. I hope to see you again. Thank you so much!!
Takashi! Did a wonderful job taking us two families (from Australia) through Osaka on his nightlife tour! As a part of the tour he took us to a local favourite restaurant for Okonomiyaki - which was the best we had tasted!! Takashi even went above and beyond taking us to karaoke (at our request) and singing us a wonderful rendition of Stand By Me. We also burnt his eardrums. Takashi was an excellent guide with many interesting facts and excellent knowledge of the area. He was also very aware of great photo opportunity spots and was more than happy to play the role of photographer for us as well. We really appreciate your professional guidance Takashi! Thankyou very much :)
Thank you very much for the review :) I’m glad that you had a good time on my tour!! I had a great time with you, too. I hope to see you again!!
Takashi was very enthusiastic about showing us Osaka. He met us at 11am at our hotel and stayed with us until past 10 pm even though he had another tour group at 8am the next day. We got to do everything we wanted in Osaka for the day including seeing Osaka aquarium, Osaka castle, Hep Five mall, Osaka Shinsekai, and Dotombori. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Osaka castle and we learned so much from him. He speaks fluent English and he is enjoyable to talk to. He is friendly and very accomodating. He goes out of his way to take care of all our needs. He made reservations for all our yummy restaurants on that day which prevented us from having to wait for a table. We highly recommend Takashi to everyone who comes to Japan and needs either an English or Spanish speaking tour guide. He is one of the best tour guides we had in Japan. Thank you Takashi for a memorable and fun day in Osaka.
Hi, Ty!! Thank you very much for the review :) I’m really glad that you had a good day in Osaka. I hope to see you again!!
Despite bad weather due to rain during my day and night guided tour of Osaka, Takashi went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience. Their flexibility allowed them to make alternative arrangements, adjusting our itinerary to make the most of our time despite the rain. Takashi, was also helped me figure my subway and Shinkansen tickets that i had purchased online that needed to be printed at the machines.
Thank you very much for the review :) I’m waiting for you to come back to Japan!!
